This was such a fun, clever read. It feels like What We Do in the Shadows crashed Christmas, dry humor, casual horror, and great myth-deconstruction. The father/teen banter dynamic felt natural and lived-in. But my favorite line was “the cat is the presumptive accused.” It deserves a medal.
